We are thrilled to announce that our project, 'Hui House: Unveiling Endangered Legacy,' a seminal art book that illuminates the rich heritage of Hui-style residential architecture, has been distinguished with the IDA Gold Award in the Print/Books category for 2023! This accolade was conferred by the International Design Awards, a prestigious institution celebrating innovative and effective design across the globe. Our work is part of an ambitious cultural heritage renaissance initiative centered in Huizhou, my beloved hometown, and marks a significant step in our journey to preserve and elevate #huiculture through design.
